a brand new menace has spawned
with a quest of death
creating life of it’s own
amidst ruins and wreck

someone better take control
or this will spread
and if we are out of time
we will soon be dead

with networks under the ground
this thing was kept safe
after the initial wipeout
it has it’s own enclave

we thought that we are gods
and we can architect life
but it turns out we were wrong
slaves to the digital hive mind

you cannot pray to your god
your echoes fade away
in a grim dimension of rot
all hope slowly decays

fast forward to the present day

the darkness never fades away

black clouds have shrouded the skies

malevolent tech in disguise

Unbearable stench flows in the air
This is the smell of eternal despair

I am insane

I am always calculating
the probability of a bad omen
I stretch my state of mind
Don’t ask how far I’m going
This is all my fault
What am I becoming?

Technology was the answer
for a long period of time
We really outdid ourselves
and this is how we’ll die
